IRAQI IMPORTS OF IRANIAN NATURAL GAS TO RESULT IN $16bn PAYMENTS ANNUALLY
Iran may no longer need to scramble for US Dollars this summer; its new arrangement to export natural gas to an energy-hungry Iraq, beginning in three months, will reportedly result in annual payments to it of $16bn. These payments are expected to last for several years, until Iraq becomes energy independent in 2017.
if you thought that Iraq was taking excessive amounts of US Dollar notes thus far, wait until the Iranian Government starts asking for payment in currency.
