NORTH KOREAN WEAPONS ON SEIZED SHIP WERE DESTINED FOR THE FARC, AND FOR TERRORIST ATTACK IN VENEZUELA

We have all seen the latest update on the North Korean freighter, seized by the Republic of Panama when it attempted to illegally transit the Panama Canal with undeclared military cargo; the weapons and aircraft hidden under tons of sugar were all in operational status, and the MiGs even had fuel in their tanks, but there is much more to the story.

 

Details emerging on the true destination of the missiles, arms, and fighter jets are alarming many in Latin America, though they are curiously absent from mainstream North American and European media.

 

Here is what was supposed to happen, before some unknown source tipped off the Panamanian Government, which searched, and detained, the North Korean vessel, before it could enter the Panama Canal:

 

(1) After transiting the Canal, The missiles and small arms were to be offloaded at a clandestine port in Ecuador, close to Colombia.

 

The FARC was then slated to take possession of these arms, and therefore upset the balance of power between its troops and the Colombian Armed Forces, as Colombian military aircraft would thereafter be at risk for missile attack, and several of the FARC Fronts, thus rearmed, would be able to take the offensive once more.

Apparently, the peace process, currently under way in Havana, is being conducted by the FARC in bad faith.

 

(2) The Venezuelan portion of the plan, started by Cuban officials working in the Maduro government, involved publicly releasing fabricated information regarding a planned invasion of Venezuela by Opposition forces.

 

(3) According to the plan, The MiG fighter jets were to be deployed, reportedly using Cuban pilots, to attack targets in Venezuela's principal cities, and the operation blamed upon the Venezuelan Opposition, former Colombian President Uribe, and several American conservatives who are outspoken critics of the Maduro Government.

 

This fabricated "offensive" would be used as a pretext for the Venezuelan Government to respond violently, arresting or eliminating the entire Opposition leadership, and moving Venezuela closer to an absolute police state, under close Cuban supervision.

 

While this may sound like something from a Tom Clancy novel,  I assure you that there is a factual basis for this information.

 

As a matter of fact, three weeks before the vessel was seized,  a former Venezuelan Ambassador and security analyst, Thor Halvorssen, who is one of the leaders of Venezuelans  in exile, was the first to warn about this operation, and advised that it posed a clear and present danger to both countries.

 

But for Mr. Halvorssen's predictions, and the timely intervention of Panamanian authorities, this plot would have become reality. The Spanish-language version of the Miami Herald covered this case, in an article published on Saturday, substantially after it occurred; no other articles have appeared in the press.

 

Anyone who believes that the FARC is ready to make peace with Colombia, or who believes that the Maduro Government is anything other than an evil dictatorship, guided by Cuba, should now recognize the ugly reality; the FARC and the Maduro Government want to take their respective countries down a very long road, where there is no light at the end of the tunnel, only darkness.

SPAIN'S BASQUE TERRORIST GROUP OPERATING IN VENEZUELA

VENEZUELA'S SUPPORT OF ETA FUGITIVES COMPLICATES DISARMAMENT AND DISSOLUTION OF TERRORIST GROUP IN SPAIN

If you have ever wondered what ETA members do, when they engage in terrorist acts on Spanish soil, in support of Basque independence, and civilians die as the result, I will tell you.

 

They relocate to Venezuela, where the government not only gives them safe haven, it actually supports them financially.

 

Each month, ETA expats residing in Venezuela receive an official visit, where they are paid, in US Dollars last time I heard about it, a monthly subsistence for living expenses.

 

Six hundred dollars a week was the number given to me, and with the rapidly depreciating Bolivar, one can parlay those Greenbacks into a handsome sum each month.

 

My point is, if ETA expats are living comfortably in Venezuela, and they face certain imprisonment upon return to Spain, what is their incentive to join in any political settlement with the Government of Spain ?

 

More importantly, can there even be a meaningful, complete settlement, if some of the more militant members of ETA, with arrest warrants hanging over their heads, do not join in ?

 

Venezuelan billboard opposing extradition of ETA (Basques) to Spain ETA may have renounced violence two years ago, but it is time for its fugitives to come home, face justice if necessary, receive amnesty on a case-by-case basis, an reintegrate themselves into society.

 

So long as the Government of Venezuela accommodates them, and bankrolls their lifestyles, it may not happen.

Hezbollah's front companies operate freely in Venezuela and Panama

US CONTINUES TO IGNORE HEZBOLLAH OPERATIONS INVENEZUELA AND PANAMA

For reasons unknown, those countries that have sanctioned Hezbollah have chosen to pointedly ignore the 92 known Hezbollah agents, who are operating in Venezuela as Hezbollah Venezuela, and Hezbollah Latin America. Their drug trafficking profits are being funneled, unimpeded, back to the Middle East  through cooperating organised crime groups in the Republic of Panama, who prefer profit to obeying global sanctions, and who know that Panamanian authorities will neither arrest them for providing material support to terrorism, nor turn them over to American law enforcement agents for extradition.

These individuals are carrying valid Venezuelan passports and Cedulas (national identification cards), using aliases that change their Lebanese family names to those Spanish surnames common in the region, making them extremely difficult for legitimate bankers to identify as terrorist organisation members. These aliases, which need to be declassified and made public by the US or Israel, together with their photographs, are critical to any effective suppression of terrorist financing. Why keep the bankers, who are the one group that could identify those transactions on a real-time basis, in the dark ?

Hezbollah's front companies operate freely in Venezuela. Their cash couriers, whose identities are known, and who are moving US Dollars into and through Caribbean offshore financial centres, do so without fear of arrest and detention. Why aren't East Caribbean law enforcement agencies made aware of these bulk cash smugglers ? These are golden opportunities to seize bulk cash shipments.

What will it take before there is some effective direct action taken, in the Western Hemisphere, against Hezbollah ? They must be laughing at the US, for sitting idly by, whilst their Venezuelan agents continue to send millions of dollars to Lebanon, and plot attacks on the United States. Has everyone forgotten the key: follow the money.
